Ms. Jones was born in Belleville, Illinois in 1969. She graduated magna cum laude and received her bachelor of science in business administration in 1991 from St. Louis University. She attended Southern Illinois University School of Law and received her juris doctor degree in 1994.
Ms. Jones is a member of the Appellate Lawyers Association, Jackson County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She also appears before the appellate court. She is licensed to practice in federal court in the Southern District of Illinois and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Jones is a member of the Jackson County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Carbondale Breakfast and has served as secretary of that organization. She was named Rotarian of the Year for 1999-2000. She is also an ambassador for the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Jones' practice areas include local governmental tort law, local governmental civil rights law, medical malpractice, insurance defense, personal injury, and appellate practice.
