FMGR civil rights litigation counsel recently prevailed in the case of Campbell v. Johnston City. Allegations involving the use of excessive force by a police officer, following the arrest of the plaintiff, were tried to a jury of 12 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. The jury issued a defense verdict following closing argument by FMGR defense counsel.
