In the matter of Armour v. City of Carbondale, the plaintiff brought allegations of police misconduct under federal law against a municipality. The plaintiff alleged that two police officers used excessive force, resulting in brain damage and other injuries. FMGR civil rights litigation counsel successfully defended this case to a jury of 12 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. The jury returned a defense verdict for FMGR’s municipal client. |
